About
I create paintings and linocuts from my studio on Norway’s west coast, where the wildlife, landscapes, and everyday moments provide a constant source of inspiration.
For more than 25 years, I’ve worked in art and design, developing a practice shaped by observation, composition, and craftsmanship. My background in graphic and interaction design continues to influence the way I see and create, while painting and printmaking give me the space to enjoy a more hands-on process.
I often return to birds, people, trees, and quiet scenes, looking for moments that feel familiar, thoughtful, or quietly unexpected. I’m interested in atmosphere, and in creating work that invites curiosity, reflection, and personal interpretation.
Originally from Canada, I’ve lived in Norway since 2008.
A few things that keep me going:
- Coffee, for the kick.
- Maple syrup, for the sweets.
- And fresh air always, for the inspiration.
About the work:
All of the artwork is created by myself. I personally do all of the printing, shipping and website maintenance myself, with some help from my husband!
